Chef's Roasted Brussel Sprouts

With the holidays fast approaching and the cold nights of winter setting in, Chef Joey wanted to share a way for everyone (even the kiddos) to enjoy their Brussel Sprouts. His Roasted Brussel Sprouts are full of flavor with savory bacon and the crisp of each Brussel bite. Easy and quick to make, don't forget to add this to your holiday table and be sure to pass around the kids table as well!

 

  • 1 1/2 pounds Brussels Sprouts
  • 6 slices of Bacon
  • 3 Tbls butter
  • 2 tsp coarse sea salt
  • 1 tsp fresh ground pepper

  1. Cut Brussels sprouts in half and steam for 5 minutes
  2. Shock Brussel sprouts in cold water
  3. Dice bacon and sauté over medium heat until crispy
  4. Remove from heat then add butter, salt, and pepper and toss with the Brussels sprouts
  5. Place in a glass dish and place in preheated oven at 425 degrees for 15 minutes
