Chef's Famous Homemade Ramen

The weather is turning colder and we know you are out working and shopping for your families. Chef Joey wanted to give you something to warm you and your family up all winter. This is a wonderful recipe you can change the ingredients depending on your mood, but you have the delicious base to start from. Make our Crusty bread to go with this for even more comfort and joy this season. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts sliced thin

  • 1 red bell pepper julienned

  • 2 portobellos, deveined and sliced

  • 1/2 head napa cabbage slice 1/4 inch thick

  • 1 Tbls olive oil

  • 1 Tbls red curry

  • 1 Tbls chili garlic sauce

  • 2 Tbls Thai sweet chili saucel

  • 1/8 cup Ponzu Sauce

  • 1 cup chicken stock

  • 4 packages ramen noodles

Directions:

  1. Marinate chicken in the olive oil and red curry for 1 hour
  2. Then sauté the chicken and olive oil on high heat
  3. Add mushrooms and bell pepper, cook for a few minutes
  4. Add chili garlic sauce, sweet chili and ponzu, let reduce by half.
  5. Place on top of warm oven covered with a towel for 15 minutes.
  6. Then add chicken stock, reduce heat and let simmer.
  7. Cook ramen noodles, take the seasoning packet inside the noodles and throw in the garbage.

  9. I like to drizzle a little sesame oil on mine.
